The Great Falls of the Passaic River is a noticeable waterfall, 77 feet 23 m high, on the Passaic River in the city of Paterson in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The falls and encompassing region are ensured as a major aspect of the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, managed by the National Park Service. The Congress approved its foundation in 2009. One of the United States' biggest waterfalls, it assumed a huge part in the early modern advancement of New Jersey beginning in the soonest days of the country. The Great Falls' raceway and power frameworks were assigned a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.
