Parker House Museum
About Parker House Museum
The Parker House Museum is Odessas most up to date expansion to the chronicled records of Odessa. In 1935, the Parker family moved into this unobtrusive house situated on 1,290 sections of land. It speaks to the way of life of an unmistakable farming family, who served the groups of Andrews and Ector regions since 1907.
Upstairs rooms are displays of mid 1900s photographs and memorabilia including calfskin tights, six-shooters and rifles, spiked metal and goads, and a McClellan saddle. The living room mirrors the way of life of prosperous pioneers, including a hand-wrench Victrola stereo. Wednesday-Saturday: 10 AM-3PM, 1118 Maple Avenue, 432 335-9918.
