Pappajohn Sculpture Park
About Pappajohn Sculpture Park
Situated on Grand Avenue on a slope sitting above downtown Des Moines, Terrace Hill is the official home of the Governor of Iowa. Otherwise called the Benjamin F. Allen House, the Hubbell Mansion, and the Iowa Governor's Mansion, it was worked in the Second Empire style of engineering and turned into a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 2003.
The 18,000 square foot manor incorporates a 90-foot tower and was worked for Benjamin Franklin Allen in 1869. Inside the house, guests can see the changeless accumulations and also impermanent evolving displays. One of the best best places to see in this world.
