Old Cowtown Museum
About Old Cowtown Museum
The Old Cowtown Museum is situated outside of downtown Wichita on the banks of the Arkansas River. Made out of more than 50 noteworthy and reproduced structures, the historical center delineates how the city of Wichita and the province of Segwick would have showed up in the vicinity of 1860 and 1880, and it is one of the biggest and most seasoned outdoors history exhibition halls in the Midwest.
Inside the exhibition hall, guests can take visits through the structures, which have been repurposed to show how the general population of the city would have lived in the late nineteenth century. Mediators in period ensemble, bona fide ancient rarities, instructive projects, and hands-on exercises are largely segments of the historical center's putting forth.
