Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve
About Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve
Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve is a 800-section of land stop in Plano, TX and is the biggest stop in the city. The recreation center is flanked by Chapparal Road toward the North, Los Rios Bouled toward the East, Parker Road toward the South, and Spring Creek Parkway toward the West. Oak Point Park and Preserve has 3.5 miles of solid trails and 5 miles of delicate trails, a considerable lot of which are situated along Rowlett Creek.
In the southeastern district of the recreation center, there is an equestarian territory where vistiors can ride steeds. There are 26 trails through and through. The North Trail interfaces with the Six Cities Trail in Allen, which associates with the Bluebonnet Trail. Timber Chase Trail is a 0.88-mile trail which outskirts the fundamental lake in the focal point of the recreation center. Wildlife incorporates catamounts, coyotes, snakes, rabbits, turtles, and fish. Guests can take the cleared multi-utilize trail to the neighboring Bob Woodruff Park to see the most established tree in Plano, a 200-year-old Bur Oak.
The lake is available to kayaking, paddling, and stand-up paddle boarding from dawn to nightfall. Guests aren't permitted to paddle at the lake before dawn or after nightfall since it will exasperate forest animals. Inflatable watercraft and watercraft under seven feet without two separate lightness chambers are denied.
