Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct
About Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct
It is a restored stone and wood water passage of the Erie Canal over Nine Mile Creek located in Camillus, New York which was built in 1841 and was recorded on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
An aqueduct is a water-filled bridge that carries canal boats over rivers, streams or valleys. Two stone curves bolstered the 120-foot water connect.
This area has been cleared and kiosks interpret the site. It was a fantasy of around 38 years of restoring the 1844 Nine Mile Creek Aqueduct which now has fruit. Must visit and make the most of your trip.
