New England Aquarium

The New England Aquarium is an aquarium situated in Boston, Massachusetts. Notwithstanding the principle aquarium building, attractions at the New England Aquarium incorporate the Simons IMAX Theater and the New England Aquarium Whale Watch, which works from April through November.

The aquarium has in excess of 22,000 individuals and has in excess of 1.3 million guests each year.Planning for the aquarium started in 1962, with the essential originator being Peter Chermayeff of Cambridge Seven Associates. The building was opened to general society in 1969. The Giant Ocean Tank opened in 1970, and at the time was the biggest roundabout sea tank in the world.In 1974, a multi-storied canal boat, Discovery, was moored alongside the Aquarium.
