The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is a workmanship historical center in Kansas City, Missouri, known for its neoclassical design and broad accumulation of Asian craftsmanship. In 2007, Time magazine positioned the historical center's new Bloch Building number one on its rundown of "The 10 Best New and Upcoming Architectural Marvels" which considered applicants from around the globe.
The exhibition hall was based on the grounds of Oak Hall, the home of Kansas City Star distributer William Rockhill Nelson.
