With its perspectives of Monument Mountain, its shocking gathering of greenery enclosures made by Joseph Choates' girl, Miss Mabel Choate, and Fletcher Steele more than 30 years, its unique work of art, and its shingle-style house, Naumkeag makes a remarkable ordeal for guests.
