Museum of Vertebrate Zoology
About Museum of Vertebrate Zoology
The Museum of Vertebrate Zoology is a characteristic history exhibition hall at the University of California, Berkeley. The gallery was established by donor Annie Montague Alexander in 1908. Alexander suggested zoologist Joseph Grinnell as exhibition hall executive, a position he held until his demise in 1939. The exhibition hall turned into a focal point of expert for the investigation of vertebrate science and development on the West Coast, practically identical to other real regular history historical centers in the United States.
It has one of the country's biggest research accumulations of warm blooded animals, winged creatures, creatures of land and water and reptiles, and the biggest gathering of any college museum. The exhibition hall is situated on the UC Berkeley grounds, in the Valley Life Sciences Building, on the third floor, entrance at room 3101.
