The Museum of Natural and Cultural History, situated on East Fifteenth Street on the grounds of the University of Oregon, is an American regular history exhibition hall that is the biggest of its kind on the west drift between San Francisco and Seattle.
The engineering of the historical center is reminiscent of the longhouses of the Pacific Northwest Native Americans. Started in 1876 with the fossil gathering of geologist Thomas Condon, the exhibition hall contains 100,000 fossils, very nearly one million archeological ancient rarities and social items, and in addition numerous examples of creatures.
