Mountain Farm Museum
About Mountain Farm Museum
Found contiguous the Oconaluftee Visitor's Center in Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the Mountain Farm Museum contains a recorded accumulation of log structures, including a house, animal dwellingplace, smokehouse, and the sky is the limit from there. The greater part of the structures were initially worked in the nineteenth century and were conveyed to their present site from everywhere throughout the national stop.
As you walk around the open air exhibition hall, which incorporates a working metalworker shop, you can get a look at regular daily existence as it was 100 years prior. In the wake of visiting the historical center, you may jump at the chance to get some activity along two of the considerable climbing trails in the region – the Oconaluftee Trail and the Mingus Trail.
