Mission Santa Clara
About Mission Santa Clara
Mission Santa Clara is a sanctified Roman Catholic church arranged on the grounds of Santa Clara University. To begin with set up in 1777, the Franciscan Order gave the Mission over to the Society of Jesus the Jesuits in 1851, who at that point began Santa Clara College, the main establishment of advanced education in California.
The Mission has dependably remained at the focal point of the grounds' religious and profound life, and it keeps on inviting Roman Catholic ceremony, otherworldly recognition, and different exercises suitable to the University's motivation as a Catholic, Jesuit establishment of higher learning. The University's Campus Ministry and Mission Church staff, alongside the Santa Clara Jesuit Community team up in the ceremonial and peaceful exercises directed in and around the Mission Church.
