Minnesota State Capitol
About Minnesota State Capitol
It houses the Minnesota Senate, Minnesota House of Representatives, the workplace of the Attorney General and the workplace of the Governor. The Minnesota State Capitol is the seat of government for the U.S. province of Minnesota, in its capital city of Saint Paul. The building is set in finished grounds. Different landmarks are to its sides and front. Behind, a scaffold traverses University Avenue, and in front others were later included over the indented roadway of Interstate 94, in this manner protecting the sight lines.
Set close to the peak of a slope, from the Capitol stages an all encompassing perspective of downtown Saint Paul is introduced. The recently finished Market House at Seventh and Wabasha Streets turned into the brief home of state government the next day. The building housed government workplaces until the opening of another state legislative center in 1883.
