Mill Ruins Park
About Mill Ruins Park
Mill Ruins Park is a recreation center in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, remaining on the west side of Saint Anthony Falls on the Mississippi River. The recreation center deciphers the historical backdrop of flour processing in Minneapolis and demonstrates the vestiges of a few flour processes that were abandoned. The stop is the aftereffect of an archeological investigation of the Saint Anthony Falls Historic District. The locale was recorded on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. In 1983, a venture was being considered to broaden West River Parkway along the west side of the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis. Scott Anfinson, at that point the city district thruway prehistorian for the Minnesota Historical Society, built up an arrangement to evaluate archeological locales along the riverfront.
