Merrymeeting Bay, Bath

Merrymeeting Bay is a substantial freshwater tidal narrows in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, and Cumberland provinces. Merrymeeting Bay's strange geology opposes basic landform terms. It isn't what is normally implied by the word cove. It is to some degree like an estuary aside from being new water with almost no salt. Topographically it is depicted as an "inland delta" and naturally as "tidal riverine." Bordering towns and urban areas incorporate Bath, Brunswick, Topsham, Bowdoinham, Bowdoin, Richmond, Dresden, Pittston, and Woolwich. Land encompassing the cove is exclusive. Famous among locals and visitors, Community to the narrows is picked up for the most part from open docks on one of the contributing streams in Brunswick, Bath, Richmond and Bowdoinham.
