About Mercer Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
Investigate delightful different garden outlines when you visit Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens as it offers assorted agricultural plant materials. For visiting, you can either decide to self-direct or be guided into this 300-section of land 1.21-square kilometer accumulation of local and developed plants. This place is an awesome sight undoubtedly!
The patio nurseries are named after Thelma and Charles Mercer, who acquired 14.5 sections of land in the late 1940s for their home and garden. They protected local trees, for example, dogwoods, corroded blackhaw viburnum, and hawthorns, and presented camellias and outlandish tree species, for example, ginkgo, bauhinia, philadelphus, camphor, and tung oil. The property was bought by Harris County in 1974, and has developed to 325 sections of land.
