About Martin Theatre
The Martin Theater is a performing expressions scene in downtown Panama City, Florida. The performance center initially opened in 1936, as a feature of a chain of motion picture houses, and at the time was known as the "Ritz." In the mid 1950s, the motion picture house was sold, renamed, and fell into neglect in the mid-1970s. Re-opened in 1990, the Martin Theater now includes live stage plays, including Supper Theater, melodic exhibitions; especially tribute groups, indicates old motion pictures and religion film works of art, and is home to "Beast Movie Monday." A gathering and meeting space, called The Green Room, is presently part of Martin Theater, and hosts gatherings, meetings, and private meals. The Green Room is brimming with windows, and is made shining by its flawless craftsmanship decor wall painting.
