About Mariposa Museum & World Culture Center
The Mariposa Museum and World Culture Center is a "hands-on" exhibition hall that houses antiquities from around the globe. The gallery is situated in the notable Baptist Church Building right in the focal point of Peterborough. The historical center hosts immersive provincial shows, exhibitions and projects.
The Mariposa Museum is well known for its intelligent displays which enable guests to get, touch and play with the a wide range of antiquities and figures. The Mariposa Museum's history goes back to 1822, when fifteen individuals in the territory joined to shape the Baptist gathering.
In the wake of developing to a 100 people, the gathering constructed the new notorious church at 26 Main Street, where despite everything it stands today. At that point in 2001 after a fire crushed the inside of the building, David Blair and Linda Marsella purchased the building and shaped the Mariposa Museum, which opened in 2002.
