Marble Cityis a town in Oklahoma, United States. The populace was 263 at the 2010 registration, an expansion of 8.7 percent from 242 at the 2000 census, making it the seventh-biggest town by populace in Sequoyah County, after Gans and before Moffett.The region around what is currently Marble City was thought about piece of Lovely County, Arkansas Territory until 1829. In that year, the Federal Government started moving the Western Cherokees from different parts of Arkansas Territory into this zone, at that point called Nicksville. Non-Indian pilgrims were requested to empty, and the Arkansas Territorial Legislature finished its claim to the land. Dwight Mission assumed control Nicksville.
