Mansfield Hollow State Park
About Mansfield Hollow State Park
Mansfield Hollow State Park is a popular park among visitors for its amazing picturesque; it is an open recreation which is at the western shore of Mansfield Hollow Lake in the town of Mansfield, Connecticut. The state stop is one segment of the 2,300 sections of land 930 ha rented by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from the U.S. Armed force Corps of Engineers for recreational and natural life administration purposes.
Geologic highlights of the recreation center incorporate leftovers of the last frosty period, where withdrawing ice sheets left kames, eskers, and pots. Recreational open doors incorporate offices for sailing, angling, picnicking, climbing, mountain biking, and cross country skiing. The recreation center is navigated by the southeastern leg of the Nipmuck Trail.
