Maho Beach

Maho Beach is a shoreline on the Dutch side of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, in the domain of Sint Maarten. It is celebrated for being neighbouring the Princess Juliana International Airport, and is a well known site for visitors and plane watchers, who visit the shoreline to watch flying machine on definite approach arriving at the air terminal, passing just a short separation over their heads.

Because of the remarkable vicinity of low flying aircrafts, the area is exceptionally prevalent with plane spotters. This is one of only a handful couple of spots on the planet where flying machine can be seen in their flight way simply outside the finish of the runway. Watching aircrafts disregard the shoreline is such a famous action, to the point that day by day landings and flights carrier timetables are shown on a load up in many bars and eateries on the shoreline, and the Sunset Bar and Grill once in the past had a speaker on its outside deck that communicate radio transmissions amongst pilots and the air terminal's control tower.

The shoreline itself is white sand and has almost no vegetation as a result of stream impact disintegration. The Caravanserai Resort, the Sunset Bar and different eateries/night clubs, for example, Bamboo Bernies and Bliss are found adjacent. The shoreline is well known with windsurfers and skim boarders as a result of periodic extensive waves.
