Magoffin Home State Historic Site
About Magoffin Home State Historic Site
Magoffin Home State Historic Site, recorded on the National Register of Historic Places, was the home of the Magoffin family who effectively took an interest in the U.S. development, military administration, Civil War, and U.S.- Mexico relations. This house was worked in 1875 out of a Territorial style; it has thick adobe dividers that keep it cool in summer and warm amid the winter. The Magoffin relatives lived in this house for more than 100 years. The stylistic layout mirrors the style of that time and a large portion of the first furniture is still in plain view. You can visit this place with your friends and family.
