About Mad River
The Mad River is a stream situated in the west focal piece of the U.S. province of Ohio. It streams 66 miles from Logan County to downtown Dayton, where it meets the Great Miami River. The stream streams southwest from its source close Campbell Hill through West Liberty, along U.S. Highway 68 west of Urbana, past Springfield the purpose of intersection with Buck Creek, at that point along Ohio State Route 4 into Dayton. The stream's conjunction with the Great Miami River is in Deeds Park. The Mad River was one of the Great Miami River tributaries that overflowed amid the Great Dayton Flood of 1913, bringing about the making of the Miami Conservancy District. The stream gets its name from its distraught, broken and quick present. Truly, the stream has additionally been known by the names Mad Creek and Tiber River, separately, and additionally by the Croatian name Fiume Mad.
