About Long Hunter State Park
Long Hunter has 2 crude campgrounds for tent outdoors just, each site has an assigned fire ring. The two destinations are lush, offering shade, they are situated on the shoreline of J.Percy Priest Lake. A 6-mile climb is required to achieve the destinations, starting at the parking garage, utilizing the Day Loop/Volunteer Trailhead. Hiking gear is firmly recommended. There is no running water, power, restrooms or warmed showers accessible. Water must be separated from regular sources or conveyed in. The campgrounds are open year-round. Campground limit ranges from 8-10 persons.The stop gives two extensive excursion covers. The Bryant Grove site is arranged around a focal stopping zone and gives lakeshore swim shoreline, a rural play area and a volleyball court. The Couchville site, found a short stroll from the two stopping regions, is situated on Couchville Lake close to the hindrance free Lake Trail.
