About Logging Museum
The Logging Museum is the historical center building and its displays formally opened in 2005 following a time of sorting out, arranging, raising money, and development. Today, the 2400-square foot building is open Thursday through Sunday, 12:00 to 4:00 consistently from Spring to the finish of Fall, with free passage for general society. White Pines' history is still here. The plant is gone, obviously, however, the ball field sits where the factory was.
In the event that you investigate around the field, you'll see that the old plant lake, now congested, is still there. The plant workplaces are presently the Moose Lodge. The old school is currently part of Independence Hall, and another school, named for Miss Hazel Fischer, is showing the present children. The lake that should have been encompassed by apartment suites is excellent White Pines Lake.
