Linville Caverns

Situated at the southern door to western NC's High Country district, Linville Caverns is a perfect goal for guests of any age. The excellence of our mountains is resounded inside Humpback Mountain and guests are welcome to investigate the quality and miracles nature made "inside a mountain". For quite a long time, the wonders of Linville Caverns were obscure to man. In the mid 1800's an angling undertaking headed by Henry E. Colton, of eastern NC, were amazed to see angle swimming all through what gave off an impression of being somewhat strong shake. A little opening in the sloping landscape enabled them to enter the underground break that is as yet home to local trout in an underground stream.
