Lauren is a city in and the second province seat of Jones County, Mississippi, United States. As of the 2010 evaluation, the city had an aggregate populace of 18,548. It is found upper east of Ellisville, the primary area situate, which contains the principal region courthouse. Tree has the second area courthouse, as there are two legal regions in Jones County. Shrub is the chief city of a Micropolitan Statistical Area named for it. Its significant managers incorporate Howard Industries, Sanderson Farms, Masonite International, Family Health Center, Howse Implement, Thermo-Kool, and South Central Regional Medical Center.
