About Lake Sawyer Regional Park
Lake Sawyer is the fourth biggest normal lake in King County with a surface region of 286.1 sections of land. The lake is found two miles northwest of Black Diamond and exists in the Big Soos Creek Basin of the Green River Watershed. The lake is utilized widely to boat, water skiing, swimming and angling.
Free is given at the King County Lake Sawyer Park on the northwest side of the lake, and the recently procured County Park in the southern piece of the lake. The City of Black Diamond attached the lake and encompassing homes in 1998. The City of Black Diamond is very nearly critical development and development which could impactsly affect the water nature of Lake Sawyer.
