About Kokernot Field
It is a baseball stadium in Alpine, Texas, USA. The field has been called "The Best Little Ballpark" in Texas. The stadium was built in 1947 by Big Bend farmer Herbert Lee Kokernot Jr. for his semi-proficient baseball group. Red clay for the infield was pulled in by car from Georgia. Local stone quarried from the Kokernot Ranch was utilized to build the outfield wall and grandstand.
The Kokernot Ranch "06" mark was joined into ious improvements all through the stadium alongside mind boggling ironwork of balls finish with painted strings. The stadium was worked to seat 1,400 individuals. Lighting was introduced in 1958.
