Jordan Woods Natural Area
About Jordan Woods Natural Area
Jordan Woods revived in the spring of 2013 after changes subsidized by the 2008 bond measure. The 18-section of land site is found is off of NW Reeves St. in the Cedar Mill neighborhood, north of Hwy. 26, close to the crossing point of NW Cornell Rd. . The normal zone is most effectively gotten to through Jackie Husen Park; extra access focuses at the north end of NW 107th Ave, or from an area entrance on NW Lost Park Dr. From Jackie Husen Park, a cleared quarter-mile trail experiences the normal territory. It ignores Cedar Mill Creek, and a delicate surface trail leads from the cleared trail down the gorge to a footpath. An extension over the brook proceeds to the area trailhead on the contrary side of the gorge. Rebuilding of the site included the expulsion of intrusive species to plant local bushes and trees to draw in local natural life.
