Visit the Sir John Humphrey House, worked in 1637 for Humphrey, Deputy Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony. Presently a historical center, this First Period house has numerous captivating subtle elements, for example, unique wood planks, a mystery way and a room containing hand enlivened shafts and framing by indigenous individuals.
Not only a notable house, the Humphrey House is home to a chronicle of memorabilia and noteworthy photographs, reports and antiquities from ious times of Swampscott's history. John Humphreys House will highlight their most up to date acquisition, a Caisson Swampscott dory. The house is presently the home of the Swampscott Historical Society.
