Jo Daviess County Historical Society

Established in 1938, the Galena-Jo Daviess County Historical Society was established to instruct and improve people in general about the history and material culture of Galena and Jo Daviess County. The general public is home to the Galena and U.S. Give Museum and their different assets and shows, shows, and instructive projects bring the historical backdrop of the district alive.
