Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museumis a historical center in the Fenway– Kenmore neighborhood of Boston. It houses a workmanship accumulation of world significance, including critical cases of European, Asian, and American craftsmanship, from artistic creations and model to embroidered works of art and enlivening expressions. In 1990, thirteen of the historical center's works were stolen; the prominent wrongdoing stays unsolved and the works have not been recovered.

It is housed in a building intended to imitate a fifteenth century Venetian royal residence, drawing specific motivation from the Venetian Palazzo Barbaro. Gardner started gathering genuinely after she got an extensive legacy from her dad in 1891. Her buy of Vermeer's The Concert at sell off in Paris in 1892 was her first significant procurement.
