Ipswich, Massachusetts was set up in 1634 aground that the Native Americans called "Agawam." Today Ipswich is complimented for her Great Marsh shellfishes, Crane Beach, four stone bend associates over the Ipswich River, and its inquisitive lanes settled with "First Period" houses, more than some other town in the nation. The Hall Haskell House works spring through fall as a craftsmanship show and welcome concentration, giving an abundance of maps and leaflets. The Ipswich Visitor Center is staffed totally by agreeable and especially instructed volunteers. Go for a virtual walk inside the Ipswich Visitor Center.The Ipswich Museum winter/spring display, Immigration Stories of Ipswich, opens on Wednesday, February 21st at the Heard House on S. Primary Street. After the opening day, the show will be open on Saturdays and Sundays 1-4pm through the finish of April.
