Inner Harbor
About Inner Harbor
The Inner Harbor is a memorable seaport, vacation destination, and milestone of the city of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. It was depicted by the Urban Land Institute in 2009 as "the model for post-modern waterfront redevelopment around the globe." The Inner Harbor is situated at the mouth of Jones Falls, making the wide and short northwest branch of the Patapsco River. The region incorporates any water west of a line drawn between the foot of President Street and the American Visionary Art Museum.
The name "Inward Harbor" is utilized not only for the water but rather for the encompassing territory of the city, with rough road limits of President Street toward the east, Lombard Street toward the north, Greene Street toward the west, and Key Highway on the south. The harbor is inside strolling separation of Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium. A water taxi interfaces travelers to Fells Point, Canton, and Fort McHenry.
