Illick Mill
About Illick Mill
Illick's Mill is a noteworthy grist process situated in Monocacy Park at Bethlehem, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. It was worked in 1856, and is a four level, vernacular stone plant working with an overwhelming timber outline inside. The first building estimated roughly 34 by 40 feet. The building was extended in the 1880s with a 20-foot expansion and the expansion of the fourth level and a screen rooftop. The factory was once in the past the home of the Fox Environmental Center.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. As of October 2015, the Appalachian Mountain Club's Mid-Atlantic Conservation Office has involved a part of the working, under a rent concurrence with the City of Bethlehem. The building is kept up and its uses oversaw by the City of Bethlehem's Parks, Recreation and Public Properties Department.
