Holland Harbor Light
About Holland Harbor Light
Holland's cherished and well known "Enormous Red" beacon, which stands gladly at the south side of the Holland Channel, has a long and rich history going back to the main structure based on that site in 1872. Right now the beacon is claimed and kept up by a non-benefit beacon commission and is Michigan's most shot beacon. Try not to Miss Michigan's most captured beacon, and Holland top choice, "Enormous Red." For an extraordinary perspective of Big Red, visit Holland State Park, and stroll along the promenade toward the north wharf. You can likewise see Big Red from Mt. Pisgah, where the hill stair case takes you 157 feet above ocean level. Holland state Park is at the west end of Ottawa shoreline Road on the northside of Holland; Mt. Pisgah is only east, close Third Ave.
