One of Southern Nevada's interesting trail encounters, the Historic Railroad Trail is puppy neighborly climbing trail along a previous railroad level with amazing all encompassing perspectives of the Lake Mead and Boulder Basin zone. Assigned as a national amusement trail, the 7.5-mile Historic Railroad Trail shares the rich history of the formation of Lake Mead and the development of the Hoover Dam and winds through five gigantic passages, each around 300 feet long and 25 feet in breadth, and along a bit of the first railroad course that was utilized between Boulder City and the Hoover Dam in the mid-1900s. You can visit this place with your friends and family.
