Heritage Center & State Museum

There is no better method to realize what has made present day North Dakota what it is than by going by the North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum. Going through time starting with one display then onto the next, you will see the life-measure skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus rex, beadwork and uncommon ceramics made by local individuals, the world's greatest monster squid fossil, and even a Mars spacesuit.

Situated inside the grounds of the State Capitol in the tremendous glass and steel Northern Lights Atrium, this state history historical center covers the historical backdrop of North Dakota in all viewpoints – its geography, ancient times, early tenants, and a lively blend of societies that helped shape North Dakota. There are a large number of examples and relics, innovative 3-D shows, and intelligent displays masterminded in ious exhibitions covering in excess of 600 million years of improvement and changes.
