About Henry B. Plant Museum
The Henry B. Plant Museum is situated in the south wing of Plant Hall on the University of Tampa's grounds, at 401 West Kennedy Bouled. Plant Hall was in the past known as the Tampa Bay Hotel, which was a 511-room resort inn opened on February 5, 1891 by Henry B. Plant close to the end of his rail line. The historical center's shows center around Gilded Age tourism, the first class way of life of the lodging's visitors, and the building's utilization amid the Spanish– American War.
It was composed by planner J.A. Wood who additionally made the old Hillsborough County Courthouse and the Oglethorpe Hotel. The historical center is available to the general population consistently with the exception of Monday and major occasions.
