About Hands on History Museum
The History Museum is well popular among locals and visitors, In the Elizabethan Old Grammar School 1583 southwest of Holy Trinity Church; this fun intuitive exhibition hall houses the intriguing history of Hull and its kin. Displays incorporate a look into Victorian circumstances; the Story of Hull; and the Egyptian Gallery, home to a 2,600-year-old mummy and one of kind copies of King Tutankhamun's fortunes.
Every year it attracts many visitors, among the school's well known students were William Wilberforce 1759-1833, a standout amongst the most overwhelming adversaries of the slave exchange and MP for Hull and Yorkshire for a long time.
