The Hana Cultural Center and Museum was created by neighborhood inhabitants to recount the tale of this exceptional Hawaiian people group, is home to a conventional Hawaiian town, a noteworthy courthouse that is still being used, an old jailhouse and an exhibition hall. The town comprises of four legitimate structures, or solidness. Called "Kauhale O Hana," it ignores Hana Bay and offers a delightful chance to see Hana's over a significant time span. In the town, you'll discover reproductions of four conventional cover structures and an ethnobotanical plant.
The structures speak to early Hawaiian existence with covered hales of living, meeting, cooking and kayak building/storage rooms. The exhibition hall contains in excess of 560 curios, more than 600 books, a container accumulation and about 5,000 photos from the Hana District. A blessing shop offers a determination of welcome cards made by in excess of 120 nearby specialists and picture takers.
