About Hamilton hall
Hamilton Hall is a three-story block structure at the edge of Chestnut and Cambridge Streets, with its peak end forward looking Cambridge Street. The block is laid in a Flemish bond design. The passageway exterior is five sounds wide, with a middle section comprising of swinging doors protected by a Greek Revival yard included c. 1845. This rectangular patio has a level rooftop, bolstered at each corner by two Doric segments. The primary floor of the long side confronting Chestnut Street comprises of six narrows, of which five are windows and one is an entryway. The upper level square with in tallness to the upper two levels on the front exterior comprises of five expansive Palladian windows set in a marginally recessed curve. Over each of these is a board with designs cut by McIntire. The external four have a swag plan, while the focal one highlights a bird and shield.
