About Grout Museum
The Grout Museum District is an arrangement of historical centers in Waterloo, Iowa. The District comprises of the Grout Museum of History and Science, Bluedorn Science Imaginarium, Rensselaer Russell House Museum, Snowden House and the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum. A play area for the creative energy, this intelligent science focus gives fun, hands-on shows that exhibit how science influences regular daily existence. The Rensselaer Russell House Museum is recorded on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the most established homes in Black Hawk County. Guided visits are accessible. The present building 503 South Street was finished in 1956 and opened to the general population as a not-revenue driven exhibition hall.
