About Green River Natural Area
The 922-section of land Green River Natural Area expands marginally north from the edge of the Enumclaw Plateau. It is around seven miles east of Auburn along State Route 164 and approximately six miles northwest of Enumclaw. The regular region is involved the previous Metzler, O'Grady and Green River Waterway Parks all contiguous the Green River. The King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks DNRP procured the packages in the vicinity of 1973 and 2003 with stores from an assortment of sources.
Soak valley dividers and an expansive valley floor consolidate to make rich mosaics of plant groups that portray the regular territory. Blended backwoods and deciduous upland timberlands cover a great part of the valley divider, with a few forested and clean bush wetlands settled in the seats.
