The Grand Army of the Republic Museum which is initially called The Grand Army of the Republic Hall was raised in 1885 with reserves raised by neighborhood Civil War veterans for what was the biggest G.A.R. post in the nation. Its delegated wonderfulness is the colossal 56' x 46' primary corridor on the third floor, which holds the first furniture and has dividers loaded with photographs of Civil War veterans. The examination library has a great implicit cabinet, which was composed and worked by one of the establishing veterans. On May 7, 1979, the lobby was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
