About Golden Garden
Situated in Ballard on Puget Sound, this well known stop offers uncommon perspectives of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. This stop highlights two wetlands, a short circle trail, and reestablished the northern shoreline. Golden Gardens offers walks around a rough coastline, climbs through woodland trails, sunbathing on sandy shorelines, angling from a dock and a vessel dispatch comprising of 300' of shoreline at south end of stop. The recreation center is additionally home to an off-chain zone for canines in the upper northern segment of the recreation center. Mutts are not permitted on shorelines, or youngsters' play territories in Seattle parks, per the Seattle Municipal Code.The stop was named by and created by Harry W. Regard in 1907 as a "fascination" toward the finish of the new electric auto lines being worked by real estate brokers to incite townfolk to take a "Sunday trip" away and through the forested areas to a cookout or swim at a shoreline.
