GOLD BUG
About GOLD BUG
Gold Bug is a genuine Pasadena diamond. This fascinatingly particular and impetuous boutique store takes its name from an Edgar Allen Poe short story, "The Gold Bug." After being nibbled by a scarab-like bug thought to be made of unadulterated gold, the story's hero sets off a supernatural enterprise that includes decoding a mystery message accepted to prompt a covered fortune.
An able namesake in reality, every thing in the store is, unquestionably, a fortune. A couple group Stacey Coleman and Shelley Kimball opened Gold Bug on Union Street in Pasadena in 2007. After a year their stunning girl Theodora, who looks explosive in Gold Bug's garments, joined her people in the store.
Entering Gold Bug resembles venturing foot into a different universe, one that is offbeat and strange, restless and inquisitive, such as tumbling down the rabbit gap that has a trace of Goth. Each bit of Gold Bug's garments, craftsman adornments, Victorian-esque ephemera, whimsical knickknack, and stand-out manifestations from one of its 75+ specialists is attentively decisively and flawlessly displayed. The store is cool all around; Gold Bug's window shows are ensured works of art. Whenever of day or night, you will discover a horde of rubbernecks chuckling, ooh'ing and aw'ing and going after their advanced mobile phone camera to catch the enchantment that is Gold Bug.
