Gold Bar is a city in Washington, United States. Gold Bar began as a miners camp in 1889, named by an excavator who discovered hints of gold on a stream rock bar. After Gold Bar turned into a development camp for the Great Northern Railway, against Chinese slant was kindled by a shooting fight began by notorious camp adherents. As per the United States Census Bureau, the city has an aggregate territory of 1.03 square miles, every last bit of it land.
The atmosphere here has gentle contrasts amongst highs and lows, and there is satisfactory precipitation year-round. Gold Bar is known as a wilderness boating goal for those trying to glide the Skykomish River.
